The Scottish Schools FA were 3-1 winners in the first of two U-15 friendly internationls in North Wales against their Welsh counterparts.
The opening encounter was moved from a waterlogged Bangor City FC to Llandudno FC on Saturday, where the visitors led 1-0 at half time.
Rebecca McAllister scored from the edge of the box, while Mary McAteer was denied an equaliser by a save from Alicia Yates and Zoe Collyer only found the side-netting after dispossessing a Scottish defender.
With Wales passing up a great opportunity at one end of the pitch, Scotland broke and Ellie Jai Reid doubled the advantage with a low shot inside the near-post.
It was 3-0 when the hosts failed to clear a corner and Jessica Broadrick pounced in the six-yard box to prod home with 15 minutes remaining.
Carrie Jones got a goal back when making the most of an error by the visiting keeper and Libby Isaac nearly netted a second but her free kick was scrambled off the line.
The second friendly between these two sides is at Cefn Druids FC on Monday, with a 10.30 kick off.
The matches are warm-ups for the Bob Docherty Cup, which is held by Wales and being played in Belfast next month. The Welsh squad will also travel to play games in Brittany later in February for more preparations.
