Two North West Regional League sides are proving particularly hard to stop, as Bolton Wanderers now boast eight straight wins and Poulton Vics nine.
EASTERN – Harpenden go eight points clear
Premier – Haringey Borough edged Enfield Town 3-2 in front of a crowd of 150, to climb two places and go level on points with third-placed St Albans City.
1 North – Harpenden Town opened up an eight-point lead at the top with a 4-2 win at Mulbarton Wanderers, while both their nearest rivals were held. AFC Dunstable substitute Poppy Surridge scored in a 1-1 draw with Wootton Blue Cross, Histon also had to settle for a 1-1 scoreline after Whittlesey Athletic’s Jenna Nairn scored a 90th-minute equaliser. Newmarket Town’s Katie Spiers got both goals of the game at Thetford Town, Real Bedford Res sank Kings Lynn Town 7-1 and Stevenage Devs beat Biggleswade United 3-1.
1 South – Leaders Southend United won 3-1 at Toby Ladies aided by Ellie Nicholls’ double, Colney Heath put five past Romford Town Flyers to stay in close contention, while Lawford claimed a first win with a Georgia Box effort at Frontiers.
EAST MIDLANDS – Grimsby teams both overcome setbacks
Premier – Mansfield Town got the sole goal at Basford United to leapfrog them in the table, sitting just goal-difference now behind second-placed Sheffield FC.
1 Central – Brookside Athletic’s first points came with a 2-0 away win at West Bridgford, where Jade Benford and Kayleigh Needham found the net.
1 North – Leaders Gainsborough Trinity sank Buxton 7-1, Dronfield Town’s Kristine Humble was at the double in a 2-1 victory over Chesterfield FC, Grimsby Borough had Macy Revill sent off but Tyra Jo Cockburn hit a hat-trick as they beat Belper Town 5-3, Grimsby Town came from behind to win 2-1 at Arnold Eagles as Saraiah Swallow got the decider. Elsewhere, Sherwood ran out 4-1 winners at Notts County Devs.

1 South – New Bradwell St Peter are top by six points following a 2-0 victory over Cardea Northampton Town Devs’ sub Rachel Beswick scored on 89 minutes but bottom side Bugbrooke St.Michael took a 2-2 draw after Chloe Murphy levelled in stoppage time.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Goalless Leatherhead go top
Premier – Newhaven’s first win at this level came with goals by Ellie O’Callaghan and Danielle Parfitt at Haywards Heath Town, Millwall Lionesses got off the mark 2-1 at Sutton United with a couple from Sophie Chapman.
1 North – Although Leatherhead played out a goalless draw at Dulwich Hamlet Res, the sides are now first and second respectively. Denham United edged a seven-goal thriller with Ashmount Leigh to go level on points with third-placed Brentford, Bromley’s Leen Winner Ekwo netted three times during a 7-2 victory at Richmond Park who had been level at the break. Clapton CFC won 4-0 at AFC Whyteleafe to move into the top half, with two goals each for Taiyah Evans and Rebekah Higgins.
1 South – Bognor Regis Town went second after a 2-0 win at Bexhill United, Three Bridges got off the mark with a 2-1 basement battle win at Hastings United.
NORTH EAST – Sixth straight win for Norton
Premier – Ponteland United missed a chance to go level on points with leaders Chester le Street Town, when going down 2-1 at a previously winless Harrogate Town.

1 North – Norton & Stockton Ancients Res made it six wins from six with a 5-3 result at Chester le Street Amazons, Anna Mawston and Anna McArthur each scoring twice. Chester le Street United’s Lily West also claimed a couple in the 4-3 win against i2i International Soccer Academy, while Bishop Auckland’s opening victory came 2-1 at fourth-placed Wallsend BC Res.
1 South – York City Devs made a 40th-minute breakthrough at Kiveton Park on the way to a 6-0 win, Sheffield Wednesday remain without a point after letting the lead slip at home to Lower Hopton, whose Mia Moorhouse scored the decider at 2-1.
NORTH WEST – Poulton take perfect start to ninth game
Premier – Bury and Salford City remain seventh and eighth respectively after a 2-2 result, which was Salford’s fourth draw in eight games.
1 North – Bolton Wanderers’ 6-1 result at Radcliffe was their eighth win in a row that gave them a six-point lead. Workington Town just got the better of Blackpool by three goals to two, Haslingden beat Morecambe 5-2 as Bethany Macdonald contributed three goals, Atherton Laburnum Rovers won 4-0 at Hindley.
1 South – Poulton Vics have nine wins from as many matches, after a 3-2 win over Runcorn Linnets moved them six points ahead of the rest. Mossley Hill Athletic are third following a 3-1 defeat of Ellesmere Port Town with Khadeeja Rhoden getting a couple, Wirral Phoenix won 4-2 at Warrington Town.
SOUTHERN – Acott hits 12-minute hat-trick for Bournemouth Sports
Premier – Oxford City beat Badshot Lea 6-1 after their five-goal first 45 to go second in the table, goal-difference short of Ascot United who have a game in hand.

1 North – Beaconsfield Town’s Katie Riddington recorded a first-half treble in the 5-1 win over Kidlington, Wycombe Wanderers U-23s won by the same score at Caversham United. Ascot United Res were 3-1 winners at Tilehurst Panthers, Slough Town sub Megan Duffy struck in a 3-2 defeat of Abingdon United Devs, while Milton United and Chesham United Devs shared eight goals.
1 South – Bournemouth Sports Res hit QK Southampton for six as Emma Acott’s four-goal haul featured a hat-trick in a dozen first-half minutes. AFC Varsity’s Kayleigh Rogers scored three times in the last 30 minutes for a 3-2 win at Woking.
SOUTH WEST LEAGUE – Four-goal Marks helps Sticker to 6-4 success
Premier – Pucklechurch Sports’ Mia Blazey and Amy Jefferies were on target in a 3-2 victory over Ilminster Town.
1 North – Cirencester Town overtook St Vallier on goal-difference after defeating them 4-2, also going level on points with leaders Bitton. Corsham Town’s Gabby Menghini opened the scoring but Lana Revill quickly replied for SGS Olveston United in a 1-1 tie, while it ended goalless between Purton and Paulton Rovers.
1 South – Weymouth went three points clear in first with the only goal at Weston super Mare, Plympton extended their winning start to four games with a 2-1 result at Helston Athletic that saw them take second position on goal-difference from Saltash United. Sticker turned a 3-2 half-time deficit into a 6-4 win, Tori Marks scoring four and Feniton’s Louise Ilsley netting a hat-trick in vain. Honiton Town got off the mark 2-0 at Bideford, who still chase their first points.
WEST MIDLANDS – Sphinx cause cup shock
Premier Cup – Without a win in the league, Coventry Sphinx eliminated second-placed Coundon Court 2-1 with subs Sonia Dziedzic and Michelle McCormack both striking.

1 North – Leaders Walsall Wood have four wins from as many games, after the 3-0 result over Newcastle Town was set up by Leila Burford’s brace. Rugby Town’s opening points were achieved with a 4-2 victory over Tamworth, aided by a quickfire Kelsey Green double.
1 South – Halesowen Town put five past Worcester City Res for a fourth straight win as sub Bethney Taylor scored three times. Crusaders are second after running out 9-2 winners at Droitwich Spa, with four each by Keeley Davies and Danielle Selmes. In the other match, Bromsgrove Sporting beat Solihull Moors Foundation Res 4-0.
