Rangers and Celtic drew their Scottish Women’s Premier League clash 0-0 in front of 3,328 fans at Broadwood Stadium on Saturday evening.

The result moved unbeaten Rangers a point clear at the top, while Celtic went second on goal-difference ahead of Glasgow City, who now have a game in hand on both.

Rangers were closest to a first-half breakthrough, when a long-range effort from Nicola Docherty was well saved by Pamela Tajonar.

Tessel Middag struck a 25-yard free-kick against the underside of the Celtic crossbar, Tajonar later held her follow-up to Kirsty Howat’s shot.

Celtic nearly grabbed a stoppage-time winner but Victoria Esson tipped Olivia Fergusson’s header round the post.
