In a repeat of last year’s final, Sion Swifts defend their title against reigning NIFL Women’s Premiership champions Cliftonville.

The match will be played at Stangmore Park, home of Dungannon Swifts FC, on Thursday 31 August – kick-off: 7.45pm.

Last season, Sion Swifts lifted the League Cup for the first time in their history, as Cora Chambers struck twice against the Reds in extra-time.

The Swifts have overcome Ballymena United, Mid Ulster and had a narrow semi-final victory over Crusaders to seal a place in this year’s final.

After receiving a bye in the first round of the competition, the Reds overcame stiff opposition in Glentoran (quarter-finals) and Linfield (semi-finals) to place them one step away from another piece of silverware at Solitude.
