Loughborough Lightning opened up a four-point lead at the top with a 2-1 victory over Sutton Coldfield Town. Kathryn Pagan twice gave Leafield Athletic the lead at Lincoln but Toni McHamilton and Leah Hardy replied for City. Solihull Moors beat Leafield 3-1 in midweek.

AFC Wimbledon’s 4-2 defeat of London Seaward lifted them six points clear at the top, fourth-placed Worthing drawing with second-in-the-table Norwich City. Cambridge City won the basement battle with Haywards Heath Town to move off the bottom, Jade Barrett bagging a brace in the 5-1 win.
