Birmingham City Women have signed 23-year-old midfielder Mollie Green from Manchester United.

Prior to signing for Manchester United when they entered the Championship, Green scored 13 times in 18 games during a season for Everton, including a hat-trick in an 8-0 victory over Millwall.

She played under new Blues boss Carla Ward when loaned to Sheffield United in January, scoring twice in her three matches there.

Green commented on her move: “I am really excited to be a part of this club. I have worked with Carla before, we worked well together, hopefully that continues here.”
