Scottish youth international Carly Girasoli has joined London City Lionesses following a season in the SWPL with Rangers.
The centre-back came through the Celtic FC Academy, later winning three league titles with Glasgow City, won the 2018 Scottish Youth Player of the Year award and has represented Scotland at U-16, U-17 and U-19 levels.
Head Coach Melissa Phillips told londoncitylionesses.com: “Carly is a bright young defender with an exceptional understanding of the game. She joins London City with invaluable experiences within the Champions league and the top level of Scotland.”
Girasoli commented: “I’m delighted to have signed with LCL. From speaking to the coaching staff, I could tell that this is a very ambitious club and I knew straight away that it was something I wanted to be a part of. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
