Jess Fishlock wins Wales Women’s Player of the Year award

Jess Fishlock – currently on loan at Lyon from Seattle Reign – won the FA of Wales Women’s Player of the Year award last night, with the ceremony hosted by Gabby Logan at Hensol Castle.

Everton’s Elise Hughes, who has this year broken into the senior side, earned the accolade of Young Player of the Year.

Wales captain Sophie Ingle won the Players’ Player of The Year, while busy helping Chelsea to a UWCL quarter-final 1st leg victory.
