Janine Beckie nominated for Canadian Women’s Player of the Year

Manchester City’s Janine Beckie is among ten Canadian senior team international nominees shortlisted for the Canada Soccer Women’s Player of the Year award.

Beckie scored three goals and two assists in 2019 internationals, winning Player of the Match in the win against Mexico.

The Canada Soccer Player of the Month in September, she became just the second Canadian to score a hat trick in UEFA Women’s Champions League.
