Glasgow City were beaten 4-0 at home by Norway’s SK Brann in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualifying Round 2 1st leg tie.

There were 865 fans at Petershill Park for Glasgow City’s match but they all too soon found themselves 2-0 down, as Rakel Engesvik got the opener and Justine Kielland’s half-volley dipped over keeper Lee Gibson and into the back of the net.
Engesvik extended the lead to 3-0 before the break, Marit Lund getting the fourth in the dying minutes to leave Leanne Ross’s side a near impossible task for the away leg.
Häcken overturned Twente’s lead with goals just before and after the break but the Dutch side left with a following an equaliser by Leonie Vliek.
Rocio Galvez got the crucial second goal that gave Real Madrid a 2-1 lead to take to Valerenga, Ria Oling got Rosengård’s winner at Spartak Subotica.
Romee Leuchter hit a 13-minute second-half hat-trick as Ajax netted six in Zurich, Benfica went one better against Apollon Limassol.
