Georgia Timms, whose contract with Barclays Championship side Lewes ends this summer, has signed a deal to join Hearts.

The 24-year-old striker made more than 50 appearances for the Rooks and signed off with a goal in the defeat of champions Liverpool.

Previously a top scorer with Oxford United, Timms will look to help Hearts improve on the eighth place achieved in their first Scottish Women’s Premier League 1 campaign.

Hearts manager Eva Old had earlier made a double-signing from Rangers, in Republic of Ireland international Ciara Grant and Emma Brownlie, who has been capped at U-19 level by Scotland.
