Cardiff Met took the lead through an Emily Allen spot-kick but Swansea City equalised immediately with a Chloe Chivers goal. No decider was forthcoming and with it coming down to penalties, the Archers progressed 3-2.

Neither Abergavenny nor Aberystwyth Town could find a breakthrough in normal time, the visitors eventually going through 4-2 in the shoot-out.

Cardiff City FC were 4-1 winners over newcomers Barry, Megan Saunders, Siobhan Walsh, Catherine Walsh and Zoe Atkins scoring before substitute Anna Houghton hit a consolation.

The semi-final draw will be made today, Monday 31 January.
