Hibernian Women have signed American forward Jorian Baucom on a one year-deal to bolster Grant Scott’s attacking options.
The 26-year-old arrives from Portuguese side Damaiense but has played for various teams across Europe and in her native NWSL. She made her Champions League debut in 2019 for AC Sparta Prague and was part of the North Carolina Courage squad that won the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup.
Baucom has also played for the USA at various youth camps from U15 to U20 level.
With a lethal finish in and around the penalty area, Jorian will be looking forward to battling against SWPL defences this season.
On her arrival, Baucom said: “I’m very excited to have joined the club. After speaking to Grant and the rest of the staff they have really big ambitions for the club and it’s something I enjoyed hearing and wanted to be a part of. I’m excited for this new opportunity at Hibernian.”
Manager Grant Scott was delighted to welcome Jorian to Edinburgh: “We are pleased to welcome Jorian to the Club, she has been with us now for over a week and has had the chance to settle in both with the girls and here in Edinburgh.
“I am really excited to see how she adapts to the Scottish game because we know she has the attributes to be very successful here in the SWPL.”
