Final Midweek Match Day For Spring Series

Wednesday 31st May

Arsenal v Reading (Barnet FC, 7.30)
Birmingham City v Yeovil Town (Solihull Moors FC, 7.45)
Bristol City v Chelsea (Stoke Gifford Stadium, 7.05)
Sunderland v Manchester City (Hetton Centre, 7pm) – BBC Red Button/Online

Both Chelsea and Manchester City are a point off the top with a game in hand and the West London side have a big advantage in terms of goal-difference, should the title come down to that.

Bristol City are to be the next side to have to try to deal with the Blues’ goal-scoring machine that has netted 26 times in 6 outings.

Man City travel to Sunderland for the live game on the BBC, with the Black Cats having risen to fifth place after a second victory, achieved despite scoring just three times overall.

Arsenal are the only remaining unbeaten side and two points short of Liverpool before hosting Reading at The Hive. The Royals remained sixth after Sunday’s game, in which their ten players held on to draw with Birmingham.

Yeovil finish their first ever WSL competition away at Birmingham City, hoping to end on a positive note, having lost all seven matches to date.

The Spring Series then comes to a conclusion on Saturday 3rd June, with all four fixtures kicking off at 3.30pm:

Birmingham City v Chelsea
Bristol City v Arsenal
Liverpool v Manchester City
Sunderland v Reading
