Arsenal will take the FAWSL leadership from Manchester City with a game still in hand if they win away to Liverpool on Sunday in a lunchtime kick off.

Fixtures for Sunday 24th March

FA WSL

Liverpool v Arsenal (Tranmere Rovers FC, 12.30) – live on BT Sport 1
Bristol City v Everton (Stoke Gifford Stadium, 3pm)

FA WC

Tottenham Hotspur v Sheffield United (Cheshunt FC, 12:15)
Charlton Athletic v Manchester United (VCD Athletic, 2pm)

The Gunners will be looking for a repeat of the result from the opening day of the league campaign, when they sent the Reds to a 5-0 defeat.

Bristol City are after a double over Everton having beaten the Toffees 2-0 away in December but the visitors will be keen to take something from the game and move further clear of basement side Yeovil Town.

Both teams in the FA Women’s Championship promotion places are in action, with Tottenham Hotspur hosting Sheffield United in an early kick off and Manchester United returning to the scene of their abandoned match with Charlton Athletic.

Spurs began 2019 with a 2-1 result away to the Blades and need another victory with Manchester United just two points behind and having played one match fewer than the leaders.

Meanwhile, public nominations are now open for ‘Unsung Hero’ and ‘Best Football Development Initiative’ at The FA Women’s Football Awards, which will take place at St. George’s Park on Friday 17 May. Click here to cast your votes.
