Sunday 19th February (2pm)
FA PREMIER LEAGUE
RESERVE CUP SEMI-FINALS
Blackburn Rovers Res v Middlesbrough Res (BRFC Training Centre)
MK Dons Res v Tottenham Hotspur Res (Great Linford FC)
Cup holders Blackburn are four points and one place better off then Middlesbrough in the Reserve Section Northern Division but their league meetings have provided contrasting results.
Rovers ran out 5-0 winners in October – including an eight-minute Georgia Stevens hat-trick – but last month Middlesbrough reversed that scoreline with the aid of an even quicker treble by Bianca Owens.
Spurs will start as favourites to win their semi-final, the Southern Division leaders having not only gone unbeaten in their sixteen league games but with two wins over MK Dons in the last three weeks.
Cheryl Williams and Amy Makewell got the Tottenham goals for a 2-1 away win in which Charlotte Mathews scored for the hosts and just last Sunday Spurs won their home game 4-0, with braces by Shona Chitate Samuriwo and sub Belle Shannon.
