#FAWNLCup: Three sides seal semi-final berths

Milton Keynes Dons, Stoke City and Sunderland all progressed though to the FA Women’s National League Cup semi-finals.

Middlesbrough moved up three places to seventh in the Northern Premier with a single-goal success over Fylde, Tyler Dodds the scorer.

Crawley Wasps went back to the Southern Premier summit with all five goals at Hounslow, three coming from Sian Heather. Cardiff City Ladies are within three points of second-placed Watford after a 2-0 victory at Keynsham Town where Kylie Nolan and Carris Jones netted. Plymouth Argyle a further point back following a 2-0 defeat of Gillingham, Katie Middleton converting a penalty and Helen Bleazard hammering home the second.

Division 1 Midlands leaders Wolves walloped lowly Burton Albion 15-0, Jade Cross leading the way with four. Doncaster Rovers Belles had an important 5-0 win over Solihull Moors to move further clear of danger, Jasmine Saxton contributing a brace.

Barnsley stayed five points clear in Division 1 North but needed an 86th-minute Laura Bartup goal for a 3-2 win at Stockport County.

Ipswich Town regained the Division 1 South East leadership when defeating Kent Football United 4-0. Chelsea Garrett scored four times in Norwich City 6-3 goal-fest victory at Stevenage,

Cheltenham Town edged Buckland Athletic to rise to third place in Division 1 South West, Abby Bevan’s finish from distance the only goal of the game.

Keira Ramshaw scored twice as Sunderland netted all four goals in the second half against Derby County to reach the League Cup semi-finals.Natasha Baptiste was also on target twice as Stoke City progressed 3-1 at Huddersfield Town and Milton Keynes Dons went through 2-0 at Chesham United with a quickfire double.
