Week two of the FA Women’s National League features an East Midlands clash between Nottingham Forest and rivals Derby County.

Local rivals Forest and the Rams clash at Eastwood CFC and have a point apiece, Derby held 3-3 by Loughborough Foxes last week, Nottingham drawing 2-2 at West Brom.

Also in the Northern Premier Division, Burnley look to back-up their excellent opening day win at Sunderland with another positive result, as they host Huddersfield Town.

Chichester & Selsey and Cardiff City LFC open their season in the Southern Premier with fixtures at home to Yeovil United and away to Plymouth Argyle respectively.

In Division 1 Midlands, Holwell Sports FC and Wem Town FC both host FA WNL games for the first time, the former (ex-Leicester United) entertaining Lincoln City, the latter (ex-TNS) welcoming Leafield Athletic.

Leeds United are at their new venue of Tadcaster Albion FC for the Division 1 North game with Durham Cestria.

Norwich City also have a changed home ground as they meet Cambridge City at The Nest, the club’s new community hub in Horsford.

Two of Division 1 South West’s top three go head to head, with Southampton FC taking on Buckland Athletic.

  • Bradford City said in a statement: ‘After consultation with the FAWNL we can confirm that this weekend’s game away at Newcastle United, along with upcoming fixtures against Leeds United, Durham Cestria, and Middlesbrough are postponed and will be played at a later date. No further comment will be made at this time, and we look forward to returning to action in due course.’
