#FAWNL Reserve Cup kicks off

The FA WNL Reserve Cup kicked off on Sunday and included a penalties win for West Brom, a derby victory for Ipswich Town and a hat-trick in 11 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur’s Therese Addison.

West Brom won through on penalties after sharing six goals at Coventry United.

Ipswich enjoyed a 6-1 East Anglian derby success at Norwich, Victoria Campbell and Paige Wakefield both on target twice.

Tottenham’s Therese Addison hit an 11-minute treble as her side scored all five goals after the interval at Millwall.

Jemma Brittain got the only goal of the game in the 25th minute as MK Dons defeated Cambridge.

Middlesbrough’s Bethany McIlvenny struck a hat-trick inside the first half hour at Burnley.

Ellie Casper made sure of Guiseley’s victory over Barnsley, her late brace giving the Vixens a 4-1 result.

Jade Benford got four and Freya Thomas three as Leicester netted nine goals to Crewe’s one.

Chichester were top scorers with eleven goals past Poole Town, of which five were Alex Collighan’s.

Holders Stoke had a walkover against Sporting Khalsa.
