Only two ties in the quarter-finals of the FA Girls’ U-16 competitions have been played so far, with Doncaster Rovers Belles and Sheffield United reaching the last four of the Plate.
Doncaster were 5-1 winners away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, with Emily Atkinson bagging a brace for the Belles. Lily Harrison, Jessica Rousseau and Lucy Watson added one apiece, while Ciara Hynes got Albion’s goal.
Sheffield United edged out Derby County by the odd goal in five at their Monday evening meeting.
