Everton ran out 3-0 winners at Aston Villa to become the first side through to the last sixteen of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
Rachel Daly had an early close-range effort for Villa smothered by keeper Courtney Brosnan but it was the visitors who had the better of the first half.
The Toffees forced Anna Leat into a couple of saves and Megan Finnegan put the ball over the bar from one of several corners her side had.
Daly had a free header straight at the keeper early in the second half, Hanna Bennison hit the inside of the far post for Everton, before her cut-back led to Karoline Olesen firing the roof of the net.
Katja Snoeijs doubled Everton’s lead inside the last dozen minutes, Adriana Leon went close for Villa when connecting with a long ball but Snoeijs won and converted a late penalty to seal her team’s progress.
