Bristol City have taken midfielder Charlie Estcourt back on a season-long loan from Reading, following the 19-year-old’s short spell with the Vixens in 2016.
The former Chelsea Reserve has captained Wales U-17s, was the WFA Young Player of the Year in 2015 and noew has five caps for the senior side.
On her return to Bristol, Estcourt said: “It’s great to be back here, I loved my time here in 2016 and I can’t wait to get going again.
“We were competing for the WSL 2 title before and I’m glad promotion was achieved and this club is back where it belongs. Now I’m ready to give my all for the club and develop further under the guidance of Willie and his coaching team.
Willie Kirk believes Estcourt will be a useful acquisition to the club once again.
The City manager added: “Charlie brings bags of energy and is a really exciting addition to the squad we have for this season. She adds very good competition to a crucial area of the pitch for us, and I’m sure will make a big contribution this season.
“For such a young player she has a huge amount of experience at international level and I’m looking forward to overseeing her development this season.”
