England U-19 squad for final qualifiers

Head coach Rehanne Skinner has named her England squad for the final round of UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship qualifiers, reports TheFA.com.

The Young Lionesses will take on Israel (on Tuesday 3 April), host nation Slovakia (Friday 6 April) and Germany (Monday 9 April), with the top-placed nation in the group making it through to the finals in July.

Seventeen of the squad helped England pick up victories over Czech Republic and France in La Manga earlier this month with Grace Smith, Aimee Palmer and Jessie Jones added to the group.

England made it to the elite qualifying round by defeating Kazakhstan, Wales and Slovenia in a round-robin group last September.

This year’s finals will take place in Switzerland.

Defenders: Flo Allen (Bristol City), Lois Joel (University of West Virginia), Esme Morgan (Manchester City), Poppy Pattinson (Manchester City), Amy Rodgers (Liverpool), Grace Smith (University of West Virginia).

Midfielders: Shania Hayles (Birmingham City), Lauren Hemp (Bristol City), Jessie Jones (Yeovil Town), Hollie Olding (University of Kentucky), Aimee Palmer (Bristol City), Rebecca Rayner (Doncaster Rovers Belles), Connie Scofield (Birmingham City).

Forwards: Hannah Cain (Sheffield FC), Georgia Eaton-Collins (Arsenal), Bridget Galloway (Sunderland), Jessica Ngunga (Arsenal), Ella Toone (Manchester City).
