#ContiCup: Group Stage commences

The 2021-22 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup kicks off this midweek with two evenings of group stage games.

There’s two all top-flight ties as Manchester City entertain Everton and Birmingham welcome Brighton to St Andrews, two capital clashes as Karen Hills returns to Tottenham with her Charlton side and London City Lionesses take on West Ham, not forgetting a big night for Durham as they play host to Manchester United – a tie which is close to sold out.

Wednesday 13 October

Group A – Liverpool v Aston Villa (Tranmere Rovers FC, 7pm) – live on LFCTV

Group B – Manchester City v Everton (Academy Stadium, 7pm)

Group C – Tottenham Hotspur v Charlton Athletic (Barnet FC, 7.30pm) – live on The FA Player
Coventry United v Watford (Butts Park Arena, 7.45pm)

Group D – Reading v Bristol City (Reading FC, 7.30pm)
Lewes v Crystal Palace (Lewes FC, 7.30pm)

Group E – London City Lionesses v West Ham United (Dartford FC, 7pm)
Birmingham City v Brighton & Hove Albion (Birmingham City FC, 7.30pm) – live on Facebook

Thursday 14 October

Group A – Sheffield United v Sunderland (Chesterfield FC, 7.30pm)

Group B – Durham v Manchester United (Maiden Castle Sports Park, 7pm) – live on MUTV
