Continental Tyres Cup ties this midweek feature a double-header in Widnes, Reading playing at the Madejski Stadium and a South West derby at Taunton.

Wednesday 15th November

GROUP 1 NORTH: Liverpool v Aston Villa (Select Security Stadium, 7pm)
GROUP 1 SOUTH: Reading v London Bees (Reading FC, 7.30)
GROUP 2 SOUTH: Yeovil Town v Bristol City (Taunton Town FC, 7.45)

Thursday 16th November

GROUP 1 NORTH: Sheffield FC v Sunderland (Sheffield FC, 7.30)
GROUP 1 SOUTH: Watford v Arsenal (Kings Langley FC, 7.45)
GROUP 2 NORTH: Everton v Oxford United (Select Security Stadium, 7.45)

The top two in Group 1 North – Liverpool and Sunderland – have both won one game in normal time and an extra point in the other from a penalty shoot-out, with the Reds next hosting Aston Villa and the Black Cats away at Sheffield FC.

Group 2 North has Manchester City leading both Birmingham City and Everton on goal-difference, as well as having a game in hand but the Toffees will go top if they avoid defeat at home to Oxford United, who have still to get off the mark.

Arsenal lead Group 1 South ahead of their visit to Watford, while Reading – well-placed in second with a game in hand – take on London Bees at the Madejski Stadium.

Yeovil Town and Bristol City have still to register a point in Group 2 South but something must change when they go head to head at Taunton Town FC.
