Cleverly Back With Bristol

The Wales international progressed through SGS College’s Centre of Excellence and made her senior debut under Mark Sampson’s stewardship.

Cleverly returns to City while she takes a break from studying a major in Psychology at Hofstra University in the United States.

“We have signed Rhian to give us short term defensive cover throughout July,” boss Willie Kirk said.

“This is on the back of injuries to Ellie Wilson and Hayley Ladd that have taken longer to rehabilitate than first expected.

“Rhian knows the club very well having come through our player pathway before moving to the college system in the US.

“She was training with us during her time back home so it seemed sensible to sign her and utilise her whilst here.”
