Second-tier Briton Ferry Llansawel beat Aberystwyth Town in the FAW Women’s Cup semi-finals, while Cardiff City FC defeated Cardiff Met.

Briton Ferry’s Lowri Baker volleyed them in front and early in the second half, Laura May-Walkley’s backheel led to  Megan Kearle doubling the advantage over their top-flight opponents.

Fleur Jenkins wrapped up the impressive victory with their third on the hour mark.

Defending champions Cardiff City took the lead against Cardiff Met when Rhianne Oakley fired home Seren Watkins’ cross.

Danielle Broadhurst hit the woodwork before Oakley struck again, turning in Danielle Green’s cross.

Genero Adran Leagues

Rosie Hughes hit another hat-trick for Wrexham as they defeated Felinheli 8-1, to replace Connah’s Quay Nomads at the top of the Genero Adran North table.

Third-placed Llandudno held on to claim a 2-1 victory at fourth-placed Rhyl. Debutant Julia Alcock got the opener, Ffion Owen doubled the lead before Laura Williams replied from distance.

Cascade missed a chance to go top of Adran South, falling 4-0 at Pontardawe Town for whom Ella Stafford, Renee Day, Keira Harris and Sara Llewelyn were all on target.
