Brighton & Hove Albion’s new head coach is Dario Vidošić, who led Melbourne City to the A-league title last season.
The 37-year-old has agreed a contract until 2027 and will be assisted by Chris Roberts, who joins from Everton where he had been assistant manager since 2018.
Vidosic was an Australian international of 23 caps and well-travelled in club football, playing in China, Germany, India, New Zealand and Switzerland.
Zoe Johnson, managing director of women’s and girls’ football, told brightonandhovealbion.com: “From the start of the process to appoint our new head coach, Dario was someone who caught our eye as a young coach with a progressive outlook.
“He has a playing style and philosophy that aligns with how we want Brighton & Hove Albion teams to play. We are really excited to start working with Dario to prepare for the upcoming WSL season.”
