There was a dramatic conclusion to a Scottish Women’s Premier League title ‘six-pointer’ as Rangers defeated leaders Glasgow City.

Rachel McLauchlan gave Rangers the lead and even though Jenna Clark headed an injury-time equaliser, Kirsty Howat won it in the 93rd minute to move her side within three points of the leaders.
Glasgow City’s lead is down to two points after Celtic hit six at Hearts. Amy Gallacher added a double to first-half goals from Jacynta, Chloe Craig and Natasha Flint, while Kit Loferski also contributed.
Aberdeen edged a seven-goal thriller at Dundee United after taking the lead a fourth time. Bayley Hutchison and Millie Urquhart got two each, Leigha Dobbins, Danni McGinley and Jade McLaren scoring United’s equalisers.
Hibernian trailed Partick Thistle at half-time after a Cara Henderson goal, but Katie Lockwood’s brace and a Brooke Nunn effort turned the game around.
Motherwell sent Glasgow Women to a 26th straight SWPL defeat this season, Jemma Hughes bagging a brace, Chelsea Watson and Niamh Noble one each for a 4-0 victory in front of 603 at Fir Park.

St Johnstone 2-1 East Fife
Kilmarnock and St Johnstone cut the gap on second-placed Gartcairn, Killie beating Boroughmuir Thistle, while the latter saw off East Fife goals coming from Ellie May Cowie after 23 seconds and Elvie McLean from 30 yards out.
