Over 22,000 see Everton and Liverpool Women draw at Goodison

The Barclays Women’s Super League clash between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park was drawn in front of a crowd of 22,161.

Gabby George marked her 100th WSL appearance for Everton with a cross that beat keeper Rachel Laws for the opening goal.

Liverpool levelled before the break, Katie Stengel finding the net following a shot from Taylor Hinds.

Leighanne Robe had the ball in the net for the Reds but it was disallowed for a foul on keeper Courtney Brosnan.

Brosnan then denied Hinds in stoppage-time to ensure the points were shared.
