The Barclays Women’s Super League returns after the international break, with Aston Villa and West Ham first up on Saturday lunchtime.
Villa are one of three sides with back-to-back wins from their opening two games, and sit goal-difference behind both Manchester United and Arsenal. The Reds host Brighton in Sunday’s early kick-off, the Gunners go to Reading for the evening fixture.
Everton entertain Chelsea with each on six points from three games, Manchester City meet Leicester City with both still looking to get off the mark, Spurs play promoted Liverpool at their new Brisbane Road base.
In the Barclays Women’s Championship, fourth-placed Sheffield United host leaders Bristol City whom they trail by three points. Charlton and Crystal Palace are a point each off the top ahead of home games with Blackburn and Sunderland respectively. Lewes have drawn all their four games to date and travel to Durham, Coventry hope to end a run of four defeats when taking on London City.
