Laura Williams got the only goal of the game by the break as Rhyl knocked out NFA.
Connah’s Quay were pegged back to 2-1 at half time by Llanfair but four second-half goals saw them eventually ease through, Kirstie Kural and Elana Harley with a couple each.
Caitlin Chapman claimed a hat-trick as TNS scored a dozen, Jasmin Dutton did likewise for Llandudno at Amlwch.
Felinheli got a late consolation as they bowed out 5-1 to Wrexham, after having Katie Midwinter stretchered off.
Pwllheli were unable to play their scheduled tie at Aberystwyth due to illness and injuries.

Abergavenny’s Alana Murphy contributed twice in a 3-1 win over Swansea University, Pencoed put out Pontardawe by the same score as Grace Phillips set up the victory with a first-half double, Carmarthen progressed to the last 16 with a narrow win over Tonyrefail,
Eliza Collie got a couple of goals as Cardiff City FC defeated Cascade 5-0, Llanelli found the net 11 times at Aberdare, Danni Evans featuring with five goals, Charmian Martin with three, Ellie Preece scored three of Cardiff Met’s first four goals in a 9-0 win at Caerphilly.
Briton Ferry put 16 past Merthyr with five for Mollie Jones, hat-tricks by Laura-May Walkley and Megan Kearle, Swansea City matched that scoreline against Coedffranc as Nia Rees enjoyed a five-goal haul and Katy Hosford netted four times.
The third round draw will be made from 8pm on Monday 10 October.
