Ten-player Celtic beat Glasgow City 3-2 in the Biffa Scottish Women’s Cup Final in front of a record crowd of 4,345 at Tynecastle.
Celtic had the first chance but Charlie Wellings’ shot was parried by Lee Alexander and the loose ball fired over.
Megan Foley’s cross from the wing hit Rachel Johnstone’s crossbar, before Shen Mengyu brought down a cross from Jacynta Galabadaarachchi to fire Celtic in front.
Glasgow City lost Mairead Fulton to injury but were level midway through the first half, Hayley Lauder’s free kick turned in by Jenna Clark.
Clark then conceded a penalty when taking out Clarissa Larisey and Charlie Wellings made no mistake from the spot, only for the Hoops to then have Jodie Bartle sent off and Lauren Davidson level from the resulting spot-kick.
Wellings blazed over under pressure after beating Alexander to the ball and in stoppage time was again through on goal but for stopped by a well-timed Claire Walsh tackle.

Straight down the other end and Kelly Clark deflected an Ode Fulutudilu shot over the bar, before in the final seconds Alexander’s outstretched leg prevented Izzy Atkinson netting a winner.
With seven minutes left of extra-time, Sarah Harkes put Atkinson clear to slot the ball between Alexander’s legs to give Celtic the lead for a third and decisive time.
