England Women’s U-23s drew 0-0 with the Netherlands on Friday in the first of a double-header in Murcia, Spain.

Ebony Salmon captained the side, whose best chance of the first half came when Katie Robinson saw her shot tipped over the bar by the goalkeeper.

Enjoying the vast majority of possession after the restart, it was Robinson who went closest again but in a goalmouth scramble the Charlton Athletic forward was thwarted by keeper Moon Pondes.

The second meeting at the Pinatar Arena is on Monday 11 April at 11am BST.
