Genero Adran Leagues: Archers shoot down Bluebirds

Cardiff Met were 2-0 winners in the Genero Adran Premier League’s capital derby against Cardiff City FC Women.

Port Talbot Town 2-0 Barry Town United

Cardiff Met saw off Cardiff City FC 2-0 with a goal in each half, Elianna Chavez’s spectacular opener added to 12 minutes from time by Lauren Hutton-Townsend.

Karmyn Carter and Chloe Chivers both got a couple of goals as Swansea won 5-2 at Aberystwyth. Flavia Jenkins had got the hosts back in it at 2-1, Hannah Pusey netted in an exchange of goals in added time.

Anais Trinca hit a hat-trick as Pontypridd won 4-1 at TNS, Port Talbot had an important victory over Barry.

Llanfair United 3-5 Bethel
Denbigh Town 0-14 Wrexham
Airbus UK Broughton 0-8 Llandudno
Connah’s Quay Nomads 9-0 Pwllheli

Kirstie Kural claimed a five-goal haul as Connah’s Quay put nine past Pwllheli, Katie Midwinter scored four for Bethel in a 5-3 thriller at Llanfair. Maddie Williams and Sioned Phillips both contributed twice to Llandudno’s eight at Airbus. Wrexham ran in 14 goals at Denbigh, where Rosie Hughes got eight and Sophie Hodson her first hat-trick.

Adran South

Cardiff Bluebelles 0-2 Cascade
Swansea University 9-0 Talycopa
Abergavenny P-P Merthyr Town

Cascade’s Sophie Hamer and Holly Hughes found the net for a 2-0 win at Cardiff Bluebelles, while Swansea University sank Talycopa 9-0.
