Twenty-four-year-old Leah Williamson has signed a new contract with Arsenal, the club she has played for since she was nine.
Williamson has made 179 appearances and scored 13 goals for the Gunners, while als0 gaining 24 caps for England, four of those as captain.
“It’s a dream come true,” Williamson told www.arsenal.com. “It was a dream come true the first time that I signed here and the feeling hasn’t changed. I’m as grateful as ever to have the opportunity to do what I do here – at home – and I’m very proud to continue to represent my family playing for Arsenal and to wear the badge.”
