Both Manchester City and Glasgow City are out of the UEFA Women’s Champions League after home defeats, despite having earlier drawn away.

Real Madrid had already had a goal ruled out before taking the lead by the break, Claudia Zornoza Sanchez firing home after Manchester City failed to clear a corner.
Caroline Weir was unable to meet an Ellen White pass with the goal gaping, Hayley Raso rattled the bar and White had a header cleared off the line, as City’s attempts to level were frustrated.
Glasgow City let slip an aggregate lead on the day to bow out to Servette 3-2 on aggregate. Priscilla Chinchilla put them ahead with a route one goal from Niamh Farrelly’s long ball and Clare Shine was somewhat fortunate to stay on the field when her high boot connected with an opponents’ forehead.
The Swiss side levelled close to half-time from an indirect free kick, as Jade Boho Sayo drilled her shot through players on the goal-line. Four minutes after the restart they got the winner, Lee Alexander saving the initial effort but Sandy Maendly headed home the loose ball.
Lyon repeated their 2-1 1st leg result over Levante, with all goals coming in a four-minute spell. Amel Majri and Catarina Macario scored around the hour mark, while Aldana Cometti replied.
Cecilie Floe Nielsen and Cornelia Kramer increased HB Køge’s advantage over Sparta Praha, sending them through 3-0.
Wolfsburg needed penalties to get passed Bordeaux, who won their home leg 3-2 after extra-time to level the aggregate score. Mickaella Cardia’s 119th-minute goal forced the shoot-out but the French side failed to convert even one spot-kick.
Hoffenheim were pegged back three times on the night by Rosengård but progressed 6-3 overall, as did BK Häcken against Vålerenga. Stina Blackstenius netted a few minutes either side of the interval, for a 3-2 home victory.
