The two-day sevens tournament, for players over 35, attracted 16 teams and was won by London side The Misfits.
Organiser Tim Stearn said the event had been a great success: “It is the only tournament in the country for veteran women footballers – it is about having fun, playing recreational football, friendship and reliving old memories. It opens the door to players over 35 to play again.”
Teams travelled from places such as Pen Y Bont in Wales, Birmingham, Norwich, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, Cheltenham, Teynham and London for the tournament.
The Misfits beat Abbeymead from Birmingham in the final 3-0.

A total of £500 was raised this year through the tournament for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Planning has already started for next year’s Clacton Tournament, which will be held on June 9-12.
