West Brom begin their Northern title defence at Middlesbrough, Fylde (formerly Preston) play home to Leicester, after they won all their league games in 2015-16. Stoke’s competitive debut at their new ground is against Blackburn. Bradford tackle Derby, Newcastle entertain Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield host Nuneaton, who beat the drop last term.
Southern runners-up Charlton begin against South West winners Swindon, South East champions Crystal Palace also face a testing start with Coventry their visitors. Forest Green escaped relegation and face Cardiff first off, while C&K Basildon play Portsmouth and Lewes welcome West Ham.
The two Midlands debutants go head to head as TNS are home to Long Eaton. Relegated
Loughborough Foxes have Sporting Khalsa after their amazing escape, with Loughborough Students also at home and Solihull their visitors. Radcliffe and Steel City clash, while Rotherham have Birmingham & West Midlands.
Guiseley’s drop into Northern Division 1 has them away to runners-up Liverpool Feds, both new teams are home with Brighouse meeting Morecambe and Crewe clashing with Chorley. Hull had a good first season and start their second at Mossley, Chester Le Street are home to Blackpool and after Tranmere’s successful survival battle, they are home to Leeds.
AFC Wimbledon commence their South East Division 1 journey against Ipswich, Stevenage do likewise with Enfield visiting. Runners-up Gillingham go again at Luton, MK Dons are at Denham, Cambridge play Old Actonians and Lowestoft – having been reprieved from relegation – face Norwich.
Brislington’s FA WPL debut is at home to Southampton, relegated Plymouth get the ferry over to play Shanklin, two of last season’s title chasers meet as Keynsham go up against Larkhall. Chichester’s opener is with Cheltenham, St. Nicholas entertain Exeter City. Baingstoke have to wait a week longer for their first game at this level, when they host Southampton. Maidenhead play their first game that day too, at home to Chichester.
