Lorrie Doze Returns To Rovers

Doze, who became a regular for England U-17s, returns to Rovers after leaving to join Everton in 2014.

Rovers say the experienced midfielder is delighted to return to the club after her two seasons with the Toffees.

“I’ve been here before for seven years before and I felt I needed a change, so it feels like i’m coming back home really,” said Doze.

“My aim this season is to do the best for the team and to make an impact.”

Blackburn Manager Gemma Donnelly is pleased to have Doze back and is looking forward to working with her once more;

“Lorrie was an excellent player in her time here with the Centre of Excellence and as an England youth international. She has been away at a great club like Everton to further develop her skills,” said Donnelly.

“I’m expecting her to be more mature on and off the pitch. I want her to be able to make her mark at Rovers as a solid midfielder and I’m delighted to welcome her back.”
