Sunderland were Northern champions last time round and host Everton in their first match, while its third versus second from 2015-16 as Manchester City entertain Sheffield FC.

Arsenal begin their defence of the Southern title at home to London Bees, last season’s runners-up – Reading – are at Yeovil, while Brighton play their first ever match in the competition on the road at Millwall.
