France and England will join hosts the Netherlands and holders Germany in Pot 1 for the finals draw at 17:30CET on 8 November in Rotterdam’s Luxor Theatre.
Four pots have been formed, based on each team’s ranking in the UEFA Women’s National Team Coefficients following the end of the qualifying group stage. Joining hosts the Netherlands and holders Germany in Pot 1 are France and England, who just pipped Sweden – in terms of coefficient points – on the last day of qualifying.
Women’s EURO debutants Switzerland are in Pot 2 while one of the four sides that will be making their maiden appearance in any senior final tournament, Scotland, are in Pot 3 along with Denmark, semi-finalists in Sweden in 2013. Allotted to Pot 4 are debutants Austria and Belgium, and whoever out of Romania and Portugal earn their bow through October’s play-off.

The Netherlands are automatically placed in position 1 of Group A and the other Pot 1 teams will be drawn to fill that berth in the other three sections. Each group will then be allocated one team each from the remaining three pots, drawn in the order Pot 4, Pot 3 and Pot 2.

The top two sides in each group will progress to the quarter-finals.

The Netherlands will be in Group A, playing group games in Utrecht, Rotterdam and Tilburg. Each team will play their three group matches in three different venues, with cities staging at least one game from each section and a knockout match except for Enschede, which only hosts a semi-final and the final.
