With only sixteen sides looking ahead to EURO 2017 and no other major international competitions being staged next year, for many nations it is a time for development and so the focus turns to other com spotlight will turn to other ‘friendly’ tournaments, the Cyprus Women’s Cup being one of them.
Now in its tenth year and established alongside the Algarve Cup as a regular early spring tester for teams, the next edition, which takes place between the 27th Feb-9th March, has a confirmed line-up of an intriguing and diverse nature.
The nations attending are: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Italy, Korea DPR, Korea Republic, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and Switzerland.
