Charlton Athletic Women have signed Shauna Vassell, who captained Arsenal Academy for most of her 17 appearances last season.
The 19-year-old was also part of the successful Gu8nners side that won the FA WSL Academy Cup in the 2018/19 season.
Vassell told cafcwomen.co.uk: “I’m very happy and excited about this next chapter on my journey as I will be able to show and express myself to my full capabilities. I’m willing to work hard and hopefully bring this team to the Women’s Super League.
“Whatever way you look at it, Charlton are a big club and it’s out of my comfort zone to gain first team experience and I feel like this is the right place for me.”
