UEFA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND OF 16, 2ND LEG
Brøndby 1-1 Manchester City (agg: 1-2)
Zürich 0-9 Olympique Lyonnais (agg: 0-17)
Twente 0-4 Barcelona (agg: 0-5)
Rosengård 3-0 Slavia Praha (agg: 6-1)
Fortuna Hjørring 3-1 Brescia (agg: 4-1)
Manchester City doubled their first leg lead with a fine Toni Duggan finish midway through the second half in Denmark. Although Nanna Christiansen immediately replied, City had done enough to make the last eight.
Holders Lyon showed little mercy when going one better than their 8-0 home win to post a 17-0 aggregate pasting of FC Zurich. Camille Abily featured with a hat-trick, while substitute Claire Lavogez bagged a quickfire brace.
Rosengård took a 3-1 advantage into their home tie and swiftly confirmed their progress with three goals in the first 19 minutes. Gaëlle Enganamouit set up Ella Maasr for the opener and then scored twice in a minute.
Twente bowed to Barcelona for the second successive season, going down 4-0 at home despite a narrow loss away. Marta Torrejón and Andressa Alves netted before the break, with Bárbara Latorre and Ange Nguessan both coming off the bench to get on the scoresheet.
Fortuna were also facing familiar opposition in Brescia, against whom a 4-1 victory overall finally saw them win through a last 16 tie. Florentina Olar’s first-half effort was followed up by two second-half goals from Camilla Kur Larsen, before Raffaella Manieri pulled one back.
The remaining Round of 16 ties are being completed tonight and the quarter-final plus semi-finals draws will be made live on uefa.com on 25 November.
