The average price of the most expensive WSL season ticket in 2016 was £44.44, up 15% from the previous year, Chelsea and Oxford United were the only clubs not to have increased their prices.
Matchday tickets cost no more than £8, with Birmingham City charging the most and Sunderland averaging the least in the top flight, with admission at £4 or £5. Watching Bristol City, recently promoted from WSL 2, costs you £8, while the cheapest tickets were at Watford for only £3.
The most you can pay for a season ticket is at Notts County, where £75 is the most expensive option, whereas Sunderland charge as little as £15.
A year of watching London Bees and Yeovil Town in WSL 2 would have cost £45 at the most, Millwall Lionesses were lowest at £24.
Prices for replica shirts vary a lot, Manchester City’s adult tops costing £60 but Doncaster Rovers Belles available for £28. Aston Villa are WSL2’s priciest at £50, London Bees a comparative bargain at under £21.
