Glasgow City begin their defence of the league title at home to Stirling University after winning all but one game in the previous campaign, when their first was a single-goal victory away to the students.
Hibernian, who finished as runners-up eight points behind the champions, begin the new season away at Rangers. Hibs got a 3-1 win over the Gers at the start of last season.
Newly-promoted Hamilton Academicals start by entertaining Celtic, who were third in 2016. In the other opening game,
Aberdeen host Spartans with both sides looking to improve upon their respective positions on seventh and sixth last time, with the Dons also hoping to do better than their 2-1 opening day defeat in Edinburgh.
Hearts and Glasgow Girls were just a couple of points short of Hamilton in the promotion race from SWPL 2 and the former begin with a visit from Buchan, while the latter are at Hutchison Vale.
Relegated Forfar face promoted East Fife and Motherwell mark their move up from the SWFL by taking on Jeanfield Swifts.
