Alphington only lost 5-3 to South West Women’s League Division 1 West leaders Plymouth Argyle Reserves despite their nine players going down to seven with two fractures.
EASTERN – Hatters hit second spot
PREMIER – Luton Town went second with a 3-0 victory over St Ives Town that put them within six points of Harlow Town with a game in hand. Wymondham Town beat Bowers & Pitsea 6-3 away to leapfrog them into the top half. AFC Dunstable got off the bottom as Chelsea Jeffrey came off the bench to score in a 4-4 tie with Bedford and there was heartbreak for Haringey Borough who slipped into last place as they lost to a 94th-minute Christina Freestone goal 2-1 at Colney Heath.
ONE NORTH – Kings Lynn Town crushed Gorleston 15-1 with four each for Tiffany Forshaw and Zara O’Neill, Needham Market won 2-0 at AFC Sudbury.
PLATE – Histon went through to the quarter-finals with two unanswered goals at East Bergholt United.
EAST MIDLANDS – Notts County cause cup upset
PREMIER – Laura Dodwell scored four as Peterborough United knocked in a dozen against Leicester City LFC to stretch their lead to 11 points, while second-placed Mansfield Town were held 1-1 at home by Oughtibridge.
1 NORTH – Arnold Town ran out 6-1 winners at Sleaford Town to go fifth
1 SOUTH – Oadby & Wigston are up to third after netting six at Loughborough Foxes Vixens, Emma Aspinall and Emily Miles with two each.
LEAGUE CUP – Notts County pulled off a 2-1 win at Premier Division Ollerton Town and advance to the semi-finals, Woodlands had to battle for a 5-4 extra-time result at Chesterfield where Jody Scott scored four times to send them into the last four.
LEAGUE PLATE – Ilkeston Town were 6-1 winners over Rise Park in midweek with doubles from Holly Brindley and Hayley Brown helping secure a semi-final berth.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Twelve in a row for Worthing
PREMIER – Dartford sank Eastbourne Town 7-1 to rise two places to third, two-goal substitute Sarah White one of six scorers. Fulham just got the better of Aylesford 3-2 to also climb two positions to fifth, Gemma Taylor with the 70th-minute decider.
GREATER LONDON JOHN GREENACRE MEMORIAL TROPHY – League leaders, New London Lionesses, won 5-1 over Watford Development with Kiz Fergus contributing twice as they reached the quarter-finals. Clapham United fought off Division 1 Islington Borough by the odd goal in three to make the last eight.
SOUTH EAST COUNTIES PREMIER – Worthing stormed to a 7-0 win over Parkwood Rangers in the top of the table clash, their twelfth successive win putting them a dozen points clear.
NORTH EAST LEAGUE – Pools fight back to sink Celtic
PREMIER – Hartlepool United are a point short of leaders Harrogate Town from two games fewer after overtaking Farsley Celtic, whom they beat 3-2 with a Justine Robinson winner having been two goals behind.
1 NORTH – Alnwick Town thrashed hosts Consett 11-1 as Michelle Stewart enjoyed a four-goal haul. Chester le Street Development drew 1-1 with Lumley thanks to Lauren Henderson’s stoppage-time leveller.
1 SOUTH – Sheffield Wednesday opened up a six-point lead after defeating Harrogate Railway 5-1 and Wakefield Trinity beat second-placed York RI 5-3.
NORTH WEST – Accrington CFC pressure Penrith
PREMIER – There is only three points between fourth and ninth following three narrow home wins; Morecambe 3-2 Manchester Stingers, Merseyrail 2-1 Wigan Athletic, Mossley Hill 1-0 Fleetwood Town Wrens.
1 NORTH – Accrington CFC are four points behind leaders Penrith with two games in hand after a 2-0 victory at Workington Reds. Morecambe Reserves gained a rare point from a 2-2 tie with Preston North End.
1 SOUTH – Salford City Lionesses’ 3-1 win at West Kirby gave them a 13-point lead over Curzon Ashton, who do have five games in hand. Chester are third after a 6-2 defeat of Didsbury.
SOUTHERN – Cherries see red but still reach final
ONE – Eastleigh’s 7-3 scoreline at home to Alton cut Abingdon Town’s lead to seven points and featured doubles by Catherine Browning and Samantha Hide.
LEAGUE CUP – The Premier Division’s leading pair clashed in the Cup and AFC Bournemouth surfaced 4-2 winners over Moneyfields, Rachel Anderson netting their third but getting sent-off on 82 minutes, Hannah Bennett scoring her second of the match in added time. Abingdon United will be the Cherries opponents in the final after a 2-0 win against Winchester City Flyers.
CHAIRMAN’S CUP – Abingdon Town progressed to the final with a 2-1 result over Abbey Rangers. Goals by subs Mia Inglis and Jennifer King sealed a 5-1 success for Southampton Women’s Reserves at New Milton Town and they now host Wycombe Wanderers in the semis.
SOUTH WEST – Fractures fail to halt Alphington efforts
PREMIER – Bishops Lydeard’s Abigail Parr got the only goal in the match with Marine Academy Plymouth to take her side top, albeit from several games more than several title rivals. Bideford beat struggling Torquay United by four goals to one.
1 EASTERN – Forest Green Rovers won 2-0 at fourth-placed Swindon Town Development to lift themselves to sixth.
1 NORTHERN – Frampton Rangers’s 3-0 result at Weston Super Mare put them on the tails of leaders Cheltenham Town Development and with games in hand, but Almondsbury and Bristol Lades Union both remain better placed having played still fewer fixtures.
1 WESTERN – Feniton might have recorded a 12-1 scoreline against Bude Town but it was not enough to remove Plymouth Argyle Reserves from pole position, as the Pilgrims’ Nicola Champion hit a hat-trick in seeing off a weakened but determined Alphington.

PREMIER – Leek Town sit second following a 4-1 defeat of Crusaders in which Chantelle Gallagher and Katie Gibbons struck late on to ensure maximum points. Solihull Ladies United scored six at Coundon Court, Saddiqa Shan with an 18-minute treble. Worcester City moved four points from danger with a 3-1 win over Knowle but remain in a precarious position with their games running out.
1 SOUTH – Kidderminster kept up their title hopes with a 7-2 result at Rugby Town.
LEAGUE CUP – Stourbridge are in the final after a 4-0 success at Cookley Sports.
1 NORTH CUP – AFC Telford United got through to the semi-finals but only 5-3 after extra-time, having nearly thrown away a three-goal lead.
