Bonner Replaces Injured Potter

TheFA.com reports that a knee injury has forced Jo Potter to withdraw from the England squad that will compete in the SheBelieves Cup. The 32-year-old has not travelled with the team.

Liverpool captain Gemma Bonner has been called up in replacement and joined the squad on Sunday [26 February] as the Lionesses begin their training and preparation.

Mark Sampson’s side arrived in Philadelphia on Saturday [25 February] ahead of their first game against France on Wednesday 1 March (9pm GMT KO).

England will then face hosts USA in New Jersey on Saturday 4 March (10pm GMT KO) and Germany on Tuesday 7 March (9pm GMT KO).
