GROUP A: Slovenia 1-2 Slovakia, Northern Ireland 8-0 Chinese Taipei
GROUP B: Croatia 0-2 France ‘B’, Bosnia & Herzegovina 2-0 Hungary ‘B’
Magill nets four
Northern Ireland lead their group on goal-difference after thrashing Chinese Taipei 8-0.
Simone Magill scored twice in the first dozen minutes and it was 3-0 after 35 minutes through Marissa Callaghan.
Magill then completed her hat-trick and Avilla Bergin made it 5-0 with a penalty by the break.
Ciara Sherwood next got on the scoresheet, with Magill taking her tally to four and Caragh Milligan copleting the rout.
Slovakia went second when defeating Slovakia 2-1 and thereby leapfrogging them in the table. Dominika Skorvankova gave them a 34th-minute lead and although Mateja Zver replied just before the interval, Lucia Harsanyova got the winner with only 2 minutes remaining.
Bosnia-Herz and France ‘B’ win in Group B
Bosnia & Herzegovina made it two wins from two games when beating Hungary ‘B’ 2-0 and they are in pole position in Group B. Milena Nikolic netted 9 minutes in and Amira Spahic doubled the advantage shortly before half time.
France ‘B’ are second following a 2-0 victory over hosts Croatia. Both goals came in a four-minute spell midway through the second half, as Marion Torrent broke the deadlock and Aminata Diallo then extended the lead.
